The Center’s family ministry consists Children Ministry, Youth Ministry, Family and Adult Visitation, Christian Family events, and Caring Ministry;

By joining Voice of Refugees, you have opportunity to serve vulnerable refugee families in Orange County. VOR expect a fairly sizable increase of refugees and asylum-seekers coming this year. They are in need of  job coaches (online), academic tutors (online), and food distribution volunteers (in person).

The Union Rescue Mission, commonly abbreviated as the URM, is a Christian homeless shelter in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is the oldest in the city and the largest private homeless shelter in the United States. The organization behind the URM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was established in 1891.

There are many opportunities for individuals or groups to help at each of our facilities. In downtown L.A., Hope Gardens Family Center, and Angeles House. No matter what your skills, we can find a way for you to share love and hope with those in need.
